Bezels

The bezel is the ring surrounding a watch’s crystal glass, securing it in place and elevating its overall aesthetic. Our bezels are meticulously crafted, typically from gold, but can also be made from platinum, steel, or a mix of premium metals. We set them with exquisite diamonds, rubies, sapphires, emeralds, and other precious gemstones, offering a variety of diamond-setting techniques and stone cuts, including brilliant, princess, pavé, and baguette.

How Are They Assembled?
In most cases, our expert watchmakers carefully remove the original bezel and seamlessly fit your new custom bezel onto the timepiece. Your original bezel is returned to you and can be re-fitted at any time, ensuring flexibility for the future.

Important Note:
For certain models where a new bezel cannot be fitted, we customize the original bezel by setting the diamonds or gemstones directly into it. Once this process is complete, it cannot be reversed, as the customization becomes a permanent feature of your watch.

Traditional Setting

The traditional diamond setting highlights timeless elegance. Round brilliant-cut diamonds are carefully placed in clean, straight lines, adding either a subtle sparkle or bold brilliance—depending on your vision.

From understated details, like diamonds along the watch shoulders, to a full transformation with the case, bracelet, and buckle entirely set, every customization reflects your personal taste and individuality.

Our artisans use only the finest materials and precise craftsmanship to ensure a seamless, sophisticated finish. Whether you want classic refinement, striking brilliance, or something in between, we’ll bring your idea to life.

With Galnuv, your watch becomes more than a timepiece—it becomes a masterpiece.

Pavé Setting

Our Pavé diamond setting, also known as the honeycomb setting, takes luxury to the next level with its intricate and seamless design. This technique positions diamonds closely together in a honeycomb-like pattern, minimizing gaps while maximizing brilliance and sparkle.

The result is a mesmerizing, continuous surface of diamonds that creates an undeniable statement of elegance. Whether applied to the dial, case, bracelet, or buckle, this setting delivers a bold and luxurious look that commands attention from every angle.

Perfect for those seeking unparalleled refinement and artistry, each stone is hand-set by Galnuv’s master craftsmen, ensuring precision and a flawless finish that truly stands out.

Elevate your timepiece with the brilliance of Pavé diamond setting—because with Galnuv, every detail matters.

Choosing Between Factory and Custom

At first glance, even seasoned collectors may struggle to spot the difference between a factory diamond-set watch and a professionally customized one. Both can appear flawless to the naked eye, radiating brilliance and elegance.

Look closer, however—especially under a jeweler’s loupe—and the distinctions start to show. Brands like Rolex set the benchmark by using only the highest-grade stones, such as IF (Internally Flawless) clarity and D–G color diamonds, meticulously placed with unmatched precision.

Yet, while factory pieces carry prestige, they also come with a significant price tag. A finely executed custom setting offers you the same dazzling aesthetics, crafted to your personal taste, but at a fraction of the cost. With a trusted custom specialist, you gain not only extraordinary value but also the freedom to design a piece that is truly your own.

We typically allow up to 14 working days for standard customization work. For more intricate projects, please allow 2–3 weeks. For highly complex projects or fully bespoke builds—such as complete diamond settings or unique design requests—the process may take up to 3 months to ensure every detail meets the highest standard of craftsmanship.

3. I am overseas, can I still customize my watch?

Shipping & Payments

Yes — you can ship your watch to us via a tracked courier if you are overseas. Once your customization is complete, we will provide photos and videos for your approval before returning the watch fully insured via FedEx. Payment for the setting work is required only after completion of the customization.

Taxes & Duties

Please note that approximately 10% import taxes and duties (in CAD) will be added to your invoice based on the declared shipment value. When your watch is returned, you will also be responsible for any import duties in your country (for example, around 5% in the US, calculated on the diamond-setting cost). No VAT is charged on overseas returns.

4. Will my watch still be water resistant?

Please note that we cannot guarantee the original water resistance of customized watches. Any alterations to the metalwork—such as adding or removing parts, or setting stones—may affect the integrity of the watch’s seal.

For this reason, we strongly advise against swimming, diving, or submerging a custom-set watch, as there remains a risk of water resistance failure, however unlikely.

5. Will I get a Gemstones Certification

Yes — as standard, all details of the stones used in your customization are included on the official invoice you receive from us, whether you choose lab-grown diamonds, moissanite, or natural diamonds.

For those seeking independent verification, we are partnered with IDT (International Diamond Testing) to provide an official gemstone certificate for an additional fee. This certification includes a detailed breakdown of the stone type, weight, cut, color, clarity, and overall grading, ensuring third-party authentication of quality.

With IDT certification, you will also receive an official card featuring a photo of your customized watch, along with all stone details documented—offering both authenticity and added value to your timepiece.
